How To Take a Compliment
Do you know how to take a compliment? OK, I didn’t know there could be ways to take compliments because I rarely get compliments and whenever I do I just lap them up and feel top-of-the-world.
Anyway, the thing is, you should take every compliment humbly because going by the behavior of the average people around you, you know what an effort it takes to impart a genuine compliment. I specifically mention "genuine compliment" because giving a farcical compliment is very easy and only a moronic recipient, or really an angelic recipient won’t recognize the underlying feeling. Coming back to how to take a compliment Lifehacker.ord has a nice post on the subject. I particularly like the canonical message in the post that a compliment should be thoroughly appreciated.
