How To Boost Your Mood
Mood swings are a daily occurrence and there is nothing much to worry about actually. But the problem is, when you aren’t feeling good your productivity goes down, and whether you work in an office or on your own you need to feel energetic and positive. If your not in the mood, then you need to boost your mood because a bad mood can really sap your energies and I can vouch for this feeling personally.
Why do mood swings happen?
There can be many reasons — you didn’t have enough food; you are really tired or dehydrated; someone around you said something really nagging; you didn’t get the email or phone call you were expecting; in the office someone else took credit for your hard work, etc. Our mood is very fickle, and we can’t just leave our work to its whims and fancies.
Peter on his blog talks about 7 ways to boost your mood and my favorite way is "focus on the positive" because there are so many things we should happy for. For example, being alive; having a family; having an excess to clean drinking water; having a comfortable bed to crash on. Rhetorical, yes, but just imagine not having some of these things in your life.
