How To Become A People Person

by admin on September 20, 2007

As I mentioned in a previous post about using networking to be a successful blogger, it’s very important that you are social and basically a people person. The problem these days is that we are so hard pressed for time that we hardly get time to interact with people unless it is for business purposes. You never get to know people properly and you can never strengthen existing friendships and strike up new ones. I’m talking from personal angle too, and these days I’m trying to change that. For the past four years I’ve been so occupied with working on various content writing projects for different clients that I’ve been neglecting what I love doing — blogging — and that’s because I never got a chance to interact with people and strike up conversations. Blogging is after all, all about conversation and making new friends. Coming back to being a people person, Jarkko on his blog asks Can You Become a People Person? I’m sure you can.

Hi, thanks for the link!

It’s true that the fast paced lives we are living make it harder for us to keep up with friends (not to mention make new friends).

Luckily sending a quick note to someone doesn’t have to take that long with the correct tools. I hope Facebook could be such a tool for me (if I would just get all my friends to join…)
