As you keep adding new content to your blog and as you keep interacting on other blogs and online forums your readership gradually increases. When you visit other blogs — related to your blog subject of course — you are instilled with new ideas and you are encouraged to give your own input either through the comment section, or writing on your own blog while linking to the original blogger. This takes time and effort but this is how solid readership is generated, nurtured and sustained, and nobody knows it better than Darren of Problogger who recently wrote a blog post titled Building Blog Readership by Monitoring What Other Bloggers are Writing.
