An interface is a software tool that helps you use an application. The success of the application depends on its interface and many great applications and appliances fail to take off because their interface is not friendly enough, or is very hard to figure out. When you design an interface you should keep the following in mind:

Every module and functionality should be easily accessible.
Labeling should be easy to understand.
Navigation shouldn’t require lots of training and practice.
There should be less focus on data and more focus on the tasks that data performs.
