How to encourage your kids to remain physically fit

For children most of the activities these days are quite sedentary for instance sitting for hours in front of TV, computer, or the video game console. Children these days have very little incentive to engage in physical activities like outdoor games, cycling, playing in the park, swimming, and doing all sorts of fun things that make our bodies move. The lifestyle these days is also such that most of the tasks can be achieved without moving your body much. Even the houses these days are so small that you don’t have to walk much to go from one room to another.

Children basically love to have fun and all you have to do is make your physical activity full of fun and if possible make it more fun than watching TV or surfing the Internet. Organize weekly excursions with family and friends. Turning outdoor activities into group activities will be more fruitful because it will not only make your kids physically active it will also improve their social skills. Even while visiting the local market walk with your kid instead of using your vehicle. You can also encourage your kid to use his or her bicycle more and more.
