This question has baffled the common and the wise since the dawn of civilization: how to find happiness. People haven’t been able to decide what exactly is happiness and how you really define happiness, let alone find it. Our common definition of happiness changes with every passing day. One thing makes us happy one day, and it doesn’t make a difference the very next day.
But not knowing what is happiness doesn’t mean we shouldn’t talk about how to find happiness. Many philosophers and sages believe, and they have believed for centuries, that true happiness resides within us. If it doesn’t come from within, nothing can bring it. You travel across the globe and you are not going to find happiness (however you define it) unless you seek it inside you.
For the time being, let’s focus on the common definition of happiness and see how we can attain it. The common definition of happiness is: feeling content with the present and regretting the past and worrying about the future.
Some day I’m going to write in detail about this subject but for the time being you can go read the 7 Timeless Tips from the Last 2500 Years that can help you define and then attain happiness.
