How To Get An Energy Boost In Just 10 Minutes

by admin on September 27, 2007

Do you think all your energy has drained away and you cannot do even a single task? We feel low energy due to many reasons:

  • Lots of work pressure.
  • Irregular eating habits.
  • Uncomfortable work environment.
  • Discouraging remarks.
  • Disappointment.
  • Sadness.
  • Dehydration.
  • Doing things we don’t like doing.
  • Lots of physical and mental activity.

You can get an energy boost by doing simple things like gulping down two glasses of water very fast. In fact by evening I used to feel very low; so low that I couldn’t even speak. I just wanted to lie down and go to sleep. Then I started drinking lots of water. I thinking I increased my water consumption by more than 5 times and ever since then I’ve been feeling quite OK and I don’t feel like going to sleep in the feeling. Here are a few things you can do to get an instant energy boost:

  • Sit up straight and do some deep breathing — it increases the level of oxygen in your body. To absorb maximum oxygen, when you have inhaled, hold your breath for as long as you can comfortably hold it.
  • Drink water in quick successions.
  • Think about sex.
  • Go out for a short walk or spend some time with your pet if you have one.
  • Do some interesting reading.
  • Sing loudly if you can.
  • Think about all you can achieve by not feeling low energy.
  • Think about what the others are achieving while you are feeling low energy.
  • Eat some energy food: apple is good.
