How to Heal a Broken Heart

The first step is the acceptance, full acceptance. Don’t go into the denial mode. Accept what has happened to you and you are not the first in this world who is experiencing this feeling. Don’t go into denial mode. It will do no good to you or the people around you.

The second step is to give yourself time. Time is a great healer. It may sound clichéd but its true. Do something worthwhile while you are going through a bad patch. It will raise your self esteem and take your mind off from the current problem.

Accept your part of the responsibility for going a relationship kaput and make peace with it. Let go off the negative emotions attached with it. This will help you start from a clean slate and others will not bear the cost of your extra baggage.

Stay clear of victim mentality. This will prevent others to take advantage of you in your weak moments. The person suffering from victim mentality stops living a life. Don’t put other things on hold. Grow spiritually, emotionally, financially, career-wise.
