How to increase your readership with guest blogging
Guest blogging is when you write for another blog as a guest blogger. Blggers these days let other bloggers write on their blogs whenever they want some respite or whenever they want to bring more variety to their blog content. It’s a win-win situation for both the blogger and the guest blogger. Bloggers that invite guest bloggers often enjoy very high visibility on the Internet and the guest bloggers can gain lots of exposure by guest blogging for more popular blogs.
Darren on Problogger says that you should publish one of your best blog posts on other blogs as a guest blogger and this makes perfect sense. It’s about exposure after all. If your cool post remains on your blog and hardly 5 people read it then you haven’t gained much from the post (that will soon be buried under newer posts). On the other hand on a popular blog the same post will be read by thousands of people.
A brief bio of the author, along with his or her blog link and RSS link, is posted at the end of the post and this is what gets the needed exposure to the guest blogger.
