How to install a plugin in Photoshop

by admin on April 26, 2009

Adobe Photoshop is a great image and photo editing tool and sometimes in order to increase its functionalities you need to install plugins. Now why would you install an Adobe Photoshop plugin? Suppose you are looking for a functionality in Photoshop that lets you create an e-book. This facility is not available as a standard Photoshop feature, but if you can find a plugin that can help you create e-books through Photoshop you can easily install it.

In order to install a plugin in Photoshop all you have to do is download the plugin, and save it in the Plug-Ins subfolder where you have installed the Photoshop program. For instance:

Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins\

Make sure Photoshop is not running because you’ll need to restart it for the effect to take place.
