How to leave comments without sounding spammy
Commenting on other blogs and online forums is an integral part of active blogging. Although you may have great content on your blog unless you go to other blogs and interact with other bloggers and readers you cannot generate much traffic for your own blog. Bloggers love it when you leave comments on their blogs because it shows that you are showing interest in their posts and their ideas but they don’t like it when you leave meaningless comments just so that your link appears on that blog. Your comments should be meaningful and they must add value to the ongoing discussion. And anyway, you are leaving a bad impression and creating negative publicity for your company and business if you sound non-serious and spammy. If you leave interesting comments then people want to know what more you have to say on your own blog and consequently they visit your blog or website.
But how to make your comments useful? For that you have to take real interest in whatever is being said in the blog post and the comments section. Don’t worry about leaving lots of comments on many blogs. Focus on one or two blogs everyday and leave valuable comments because they are more effective than leaving random comments on various blogs. In addition to your tips I’d like to add that leaving a useful comment increases the likelihood that readers and the blogger will visit your site. If you leave inept comments, you haven’t successfully promoted yourself or your blog.
