While installing Skype if you forget to uncheck a particular checkbox a Skype extension for Firefox gets installed automatically and you cannot uninstall it using the Firefox interface. One way is to completely uninstall Skype and then again reinstall it and then remembering to uncheck that notorious checkbox.
