How To Provide A Complete Package To Your Client As a Freelancer
Another post on freelancing. Some clients like assigning small project portions to different freelancers and some want a complete package. Suppose you are a web developer; along with writing the code your client may also prefer you to design the layout and the database, arrange for the hosting, create Flash interactives and even handle the SEO stuff. Sometimes if you refuse and say that you only do the coding, your client may go to a freelancer that provides a "complete package" and I think from a client’s point of view I can understand that.
But if you don’t have the required skills, how do you provide that complete package? By contacting other vendors and service providers. For instance, you can assign the Flash part to a Flash designer and get the website hosted with a friendlier web host. You need to take some cautionary steps though, and this is what is explained in the blog post by Brett Derricott titled How to Offer Your Clients the Whole Package.
