How to save money by living frugally

by Sarah Watts on March 10, 2008

You can have more money either by earning more or by saving more. Earning more is something that is partly in your hand and partly not in your hand. But saving money is totally in your hands and you can even start saving money today by living frugal. Being frugal doesn’t mean turning into a miser and stop spending money on everything. Saving money by living frugally means cutting down avoidable expenses. There are so many things you must be spending your money on that can be avoided and they have no place in your life. For instance in your cable TV package there might be many channels you subscribe to and then never watch; so why have those channels? You can save electricity by turning off appliances that you’re not using. There is no big deal buying expensive branded clothes and apparels when you can purchase cheaper versions, and equally good, from other sources. These, and many more tips to save money by living frugally are discussed at this link.
