How to search using search engines
Search engines are the greatest sources of information on the Internet provided you know how to use them. Are you looking for something? Sometimes it is not as easy as merely typing the expression into the search box and hitting the search button; you may end up with millions of pages and none that you can use. Google has many advanced features that you can use to tweak your searches. You can also use the default search box to streamline your searching.
A small example: let us say you are looking for an expression “green tea packets”. If you don’t enclose this expression within quotation marks the search engine is going to present you with all the pages containing words “green”, “tea”, and “packets”. Some of these pages won’t even make any sense. So what do you do? You enclose the entire phrase within quotation marks. This way the search engine present to you the pages that exactly hold the entire expression. This video explains it better.
