How To Start Exercising

Like any other habit exercise too is hard to catch. The resolve has to be really strong in order to start exercising and then keep exercising for a long time. Actually it is not the starting part that is difficult but the continuing part. It’s great fun getting up one morning and going for a jog or doing the situps; even the second day seems ok although you have to convince yourself that it is fun. As the days pass and as you don’t see any visible results the enthusiasms begins to fade away and eventually vanishes completely.

So how to start exercising and keep exercising?

  • Commit yourself. A commitment –if you like following commitments –is a great motivator. It keeps you going because you don’t want to break the commitment.
  • Set goals. When you set goals you know where to go and once you know where to go you choose your path and stick to it.
