How to stop procrastination
Procrastination is an ugly habit. Whenever there is something slightly difficult or slightly contrary to your current mental state you seem to avoid it till the last minute and sometimes you completely avoid doing it. It can really wreck havoc with your personal as well as professional life. Ideally you should completely tasks as and when you’re supposed to complete them and you should form a habit of completing your tasks own time without procrastinating. The act of postponing things what procrastination can manifest in the way you tackle things whether it is completing your projects on time or buying a birthday gift for your child. It’s not that you don’t consider you professional projects and buying gift for your child important tasks it’s just that you get so used to postponing things till the end that even important tasks are left behind did you your habit of procrastination. The first step would be realizing that yes you do procrastinate and you also have to realize what price you’re paying. Once you know the gravity of the situation you are mentally ready to deal with it. If certain tasks to seeing overwhelming then you should divide them into shorter goals. For instance if you’re working on software project don’t consider the entire project as a goal; focus on individual functions and classes that you have to write in order to complete the project.
