How to use aromatherapy techniques to maximize the benefit of your work out

Aromatherapy has been for long known to have healing powers. It also helps you alleviate your moods and make you cheerful. Certain kinds of aromas have medicinal properties and in many ancient sciences of healing aromatherapy has been used with great rate of success.

The healing aromas are derived from specific plant materials called essential oils (EOs). When you inhale them they go to your lungs and then heal you from within.

Aromatherapy can also be used to enhanced the overall effect of your workout. This post at Rippedcorner explains how you can combine aromatherapy with your daily workouts and it also cautions you against using the oils directly on your skin.

Update: After reading this post Denise cleared up a point in the comment section. He says:

I did not caution against using ALL essential oils on the skin. Many essential oils are totally safe when applied to the skin. However, there are certain oils that shouldn’t be in contact with skin.

    I did not caution against using ALL essential oils on the skin. Many essential oils are totally safe when applied to the skin. However, there are certain oils that shouldn’t be in contact with skin.
