How To Use Digg As A Marketing Tool
Digg, if used strategically can be a big source of traffic to your blog or website. The significant factor at Digg is getting people to digg your stories and somehow reach to the first page of the social book marking website. Although generating great content is the most important requirement for getting diggs for your web page or your blog post, you somehow need to know the right people who can promote your stuff. You cannot establish a network of friends at Digg in just a single day. It takes lots of time, effort, and strategy to win the friendship of the Digg super-users. Justin on his blog tells you how to do that.
Personally I feel that the Digg traffic is only good for generating instant traffic and most of its content and traffic is based on technology and sensation news. So it will be good to target the website if you produce content in this stream.
